CONTRACTING Industrial Facilities CSO RETENTION FACILITY EFFLUENT CHANNEL, QUEENS, NY (1995) PAERDEGAT PUMPING STATION, BROOKLYN, NY (1996) NEWTOWN CREEK WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT BROOKLYN, NY (1998) KiSKA has completed several industrial facilities projects throughout the New York City area CSO Retention Facility Constructed Flushing Bay combined sewer overflow underground retention channel facility. Despite the complex and hazardous excavation and disposal, the entire channel was completed on time, meeting all environmental requirements. Reconstruction of Paerdegat Pumping Station Rehabilitated mechanical, structural and architectural elements of the pump station building; installed a new sewage pumping system complete with instrumentation and controls. Newtown Creek Improved the existing plant, modified the aeration and sedimentation tanks, installed a new gasholder tank, new odor control tanks and rehabilitated existing facilities. The project is listed among the top 50 ongoing projects in New York.
